Generating and Managing Your FAQs on tellfaq.com

Overview

This guide will walk you through the process of generating and managing your FAQs in tellfaq.com. After connecting your content, you can use our AI to create FAQs and then manage them to your liking.

Generating Your FAQs

Once you have connected your content sources, you can start the AI-powered FAQ generation process.

  1. Go to the Pages page in your dashboard.

  2. In the "Target total FAQs" input, set the number of FAQs you want to generate.

  3. Click the "Generate FAQs" button.

The AI will analyze your connected content and generate a list of questions and answers. This process may take a few moments.

If you haven't connected any content sources or if the sources are not supported, you will see a "No Content Sources Found" error. Make sure you have connected a supported integration or uploaded a valid document.

Managing Your FAQs

After the AI has generated your FAQs, you have full control over them. You can find the list of generated FAQs on the Pages page.

Reviewing and Approving

By default, newly generated FAQs have a "Draft" status. You need to approve them to be published on your public FAQ page.

  • Use the checkmark icon to approve an FAQ and change its status to "Published".

  • Use the X icon to reject an FAQ.

Editing FAQ Content

You can edit the question, answer, and other properties of an FAQ.

  1. Click the "Edit" button on the FAQ you want to modify.

  2. An "Edit FAQ" dialog will appear where you can update the question, answer, category, and status.

  3. Click "Update FAQ" to save your changes.

Categorizing and Ordering

  • Categorizing: Assign categories to your FAQs to keep them organized. You can do this in the "Edit FAQ" dialog.

  • Ordering: You can drag and drop FAQs to change their display order on your public FAQ page.

Deleting FAQs

You can delete individual FAQs or all of them at once.

  • Single Delete: Click the "Delete" button on the FAQ you want to remove.

  • Delete All: Click the "Delete All" button to remove all FAQs in your workspace. You will be asked to confirm this action.

Deleting FAQs is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
